5year Anniversary... A CRUISE!!!

For our 5 year anniversary Austin and I went on a Carnival cruise to the Mexican Riviera. The ports were Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Villarta. It was Sunday to Sunday. This was our first vacation with out our kids! Now we are wondering why we ever waited this long! We had a blast!

1st formal night

The first day we went scuba driving, here we are with our instructor. It was the first time for us. We were so lucky to have it be just the 2 of us with him.

(especially since I needed a lot of babying!)

We took pictures with an under water camera, I still have to get them developed so those will have to come later! It was so cool, we even held fish under the water!

After our dive we went cliff jumping with our instructor, after we jumped I took a picture of our instructor doing it too!

2nd day in Cabo

After we went parasailing we got 1 hour massages for $20 (amazing!) and then did a boat tour of the sights, here is the famous arch...

and then us dropped off at Lover's Beach

The next day we headed to Puerto Villarta. We did a zip line through the jungle that was just breath taking! This was the wonderful truck we got to ride in up the windy roads!

Unfortunately they don't let you take any pictures while your doing it

(because they want you to buy their very expense ones they take, we are now wishing we bought them.)

We had so much fun, it was just the 2 of us again (we never booked through the boat, so we were able to save so much money and not have to worry about going with a huge group) Becuase of this we got to do things like hang up side down and fly like superman with the harness attached backwards!

We ate at their delicious restaurant after our donkey ride back up the hillside

and then went on a tour of their tequila factory

On the boat we did lots of fun things including mini golf

I actually got a hole in 1!

Austin tried lots of crazy things, including escargot! He even liked it!

2nd Formal night

We wish we could do it again, it was great to have so much alone time! The kids did great, just wore out my parents. And by the end we missed them too! :)
