December Happenings... Getting ready for Christmas

On the first Saturday of December we always go out and buy our Christmas tree. Ava had so much fun this year helping us pick on out!

We had a couple of trips to Disneyland but this was on of the highlights, meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus!

So happy!

One day I met up with some girls and took the kids to The Grove to see the Ice Castle display.

Not only was there Santa but falling snow too!

We also had Ava and Bryce's first trip to the Zoo in December! Ava loved it!!!

Bryce asleep holding his bottle at the ward Christmas party, too funny! What a party animal!

Sad this is the only picture I got from our trip to Pershing Square in Downtown Los Angeles. They have snow there for the kids to go sledding down. Ava loved that. They also had a bunch of booths to make different Christmas crafts, like the picture below.

A night trip to Disneyland to see the firework show and see the snow fall on Main St. was even more fun, we randomly ran into our friends Sean and Monica and their darling little boy Evan.

The kids had fun trading snacks.
The only picture of them both looking

We made it a tradition last year to go to the Newport Beach Boat Parade. This year we also went to the Marina Del Rey Boat Parade and had so much fun!

And this is how we all felt after this month... totally wasted!
But we sure had fun making this December feel more like Christmas!
