November 30th was a big day in our home. Austin had a sleepless night because of his excitement. It was the day we would hear back from the dental schools he had interviewed at.7:00am brought much excitement when he found out he had been accepted to Virginia Commonwealth and Loma Linda University. These were his number three and number two schools respectively. He really liked both of those schools when he went to visit, but not as much as he liked UCLA. UCLA told him at the interview they would call him some time during the day. He checked his phone every five minutes until finally he got a call in the middle of his anatomy class. Words can't describe his excitement as he was told he could be a member of the Class of 2012. (That sounds so far away) We are both excited and can't wait to be back in the sunshine of the Golden State.

Congratulations! That's so exciting! Let us know if you're having trouble finding a place to live; my dad teaches at the medical school & is a bishop in the Santa Monica stake.
Congrats Kelli & Austin! That is a huge accomplishment (and a huge relief that the decision is finally made too). I am SO excited that you will be in CA and we will see more of you two at the family things (and maybe even sneak in a haircut or two!).
